About Us

God Will Provide – Texas (GWP Texas) is a Christ-centered, non-profit ministry established in San Antonio, Texas in 2016. We are a local chapter of the God Will Provide Global Association — a worldwide community of believers united by one mission: to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

We believe that God is still in the business of transforming lives. Whether someone is struggling with addiction, depression, homelessness, or simply searching for purpose, we exist to point them toward the One who heals, restores, and provides.

The God Will Provide Association was born out of a personal encounter with God. In June of 2004, Bishop Peter Nakhaychuk — who had lived as an ordinary churchgoer — received a divine call to dedicate his life to spreading the Gospel and helping the broken and addicted find freedom in Christ.

Responding to that call, he founded the first Christ-based rehabilitation center for men in 2005 in Boring, Oregon. From there, the ministry grew rapidly — expanding into India in 2006, Africa in 2010, and Honduras in 2012. Today, the God Will Provide Association operates in 27 countries, overseeing more than 34 churches, multiple orphanages, and Life Change Centers across the globe.

GWP Texas was planted as part of that global vision — to bring that same transformational work to the great state of Texas and to support the mission abroad.

We work locally and internationally to:

1. Help men and women find freedom from addiction and depression
2. Provide shelter, care, and support to adults and children in need
3. Plant churches and build community around the Gospel
4. Support Life Change Centers and rehabilitation programs
5. Carry the Gospel through evangelism, outreach, and missions
