What We Believe
The core beliefs that guide our faith and ministry.
Our Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God — our ultimate guide for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 — "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."
God / The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory.
Matthew 28:19 — "…baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven.
John 1:1,14 — "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and empowers them for godly living and service.
John 16:8; Romans 8:9 — "He will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment."
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone — not by our own works or merit.
Ephesians 2:8-9 — "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast."
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ — a community of believers called to worship God, make disciples, and serve one another and the world.
1 Corinthians 12:27 — "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
Baptism
We believe that water baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith — a public declaration of our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Romans 6:3-4 — "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
Communion
We believe that the Lord's Supper (Communion) is a sacred act of remembrance, proclaiming Christ's death until He returns.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26 — "For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the blessed hope of every believer.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 — "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God."
Eternity
We believe in the reality of heaven and hell. Those who trust in Christ will enjoy eternal life in God's presence; those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
John 3:16 — "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Revelation 21:1-4 — "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain."
